Use ADP Workforce Now and Microsoft Excel to help process accurate payroll for Valuable Shepherd’s union and non-union employees.

As the Full-Time Payroll Clerk, you will report to the Payroll Manager and support recurring bi-weekly payroll deadlines. The work includes validating earnings and deductions, reviewing time and attendance information, maintaining employee records, and assisting with year-end activities. Respectful communication and integrity matter.

Key Responsibilities:

- Validate payroll inputs, journals, exception reports, and supporting documentation
- Review gross pay, statutory deductions, dues, benefits, pensions, and garnishments
- Maintain payroll system data and investigate discrepancies or variances
- Complete payroll changes, reconciliations, ROEs,



and year-end support
- Answer routine employee and manager questions about payroll processes

Requirements:

- Experience with payroll processing, time and attendance, and reconciliations
- Experience with ROEs and year-end payroll activities
- Microsoft Excel and ADP Workforce Now proficiency required
- Knowledge of Ontario payroll practices and statutory deductions
- Ability to manage deadlines, competing priorities, and sensitive information
