This Logistics Coordinator position combines procurement, supplier development, inventory monitoring, and shipment coordination. You will obtain quotations, evaluate proposals, negotiate pricing where appropriate, and maintain material availability. The role also requires domestic and international shipping experience, including customs and import/export requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Purchase supplies and services cost-effectively for UPMC
- Obtain quotations and evaluate cost, quality, service, and delivery
- Negotiate pricing and service agreements where appropriate




- Research and develop suppliers for evolving business needs
- Match invoices to purchase orders and approve payment

Requirements:

- Three to five years of relevant purchasing or supply chain experience
- Manufacturing setting experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of ERP and procurement software
- Related three-year college diploma or equivalent
- Purchasing or supply chain designation considered an asset
