Guide visual effects artists and solve complex compositing challenges with Nuke, color correction, keying, and 2D tracking expertise.

This Compositing Lead oversees a team of artists on a show while demonstrating expert compositing skills and a positive, solution-driven attitude. At Rodeo FX, you will resolve visual, artistic, and technical issues, harmonize creative and technical aspects, and support project requirements and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Answer questions and guide 2D artists constructively
- Resolve visual, artistic, and technical shot issues
- Ensure final compositions remain consistent across visual effects shots
- Mentor artists and communicate team training needs
- Ensure personal and team deadlines are met

Requirements:

- Minimum three years of VFX Compositing Artist experience
- Excellent Nuke knowledge and Shotgun knowledge
- Understanding of photographic shooting and visual composition
- Knowledge of color, lighting, perspective, reflections, refraction, and shadows
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and mentor positively
