YSM seeks a part time Kitchen Assistant for 16 hours weekly, including 15 kitchen hours and one staff-meeting hour. The position develops kitchen skills while supporting relationships with staff, parents, and children. Nutritious food helps children thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver portioned food and snacks to daycare classrooms
- Prepare fruit, vegetables, snacks, and heated food
- Follow public health regulations and daycare best practices
- Store and dispose of food safely
- Wash, sanitize, and clean kitchen equipment and dishware

Requirements:

- Food Handler Certification, CPR, and First Aid
- Ability to follow instructions consistently
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Good English skills in speaking and writing
