You will work with teachers and a transdisciplinary team to support learning plans, inclusion, and safe environments. Duties include reinforcing lesson concepts, guiding social interactions, and monitoring behaviour plans.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support secure, inclusive classroom and community integration
- Reinforce appropriate behaviours during school activities
- Assist inclusion during recess and lunch periods
- Observe, record, and follow up on behaviour plans
- Discuss student progress and adaptations with teachers

Requirements:

- Educational Assistant training or relevant post-secondary education
- Two years’ experience with children needing special education
- Knowledge of child abuse protocols and reporting procedures
- Computer literacy and Microsoft 365 experience
