Coordinate student records, course files, and office schedules at BCIT’s School of Transportation as a temporary full time Program Assistant.

This Program Assistant supports daily administration for the Heavy Equipment Group and Associate Dean’s office. The work includes preparing attendance lists, identifying outstanding fees, maintaining academic records, and assisting students with general inquiries. The position also liaises with Student Services departments and the Registrar’s Office to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare student attendance lists and identify outstanding fees
- Create course folders and maintain academic records
- Update course files through term rollover and changes




- Assist students and liaise with Student Services departments
- Prepare reports from Banner and Cognos

Requirements:

- Ability to maintain accurate attendance and academic records
- Ability to resolve student information issues through liaison
- Ability to prepare reports for Part-Time Studies Instructors
- Ability to provide professional service to internal and external contacts
- Ability to support established schedules and deadlines
