Lead real-time airport operations at Calgary Airports through critical decision-making, aviation expertise, and calm communication in an on-site shift-work environment. Reporting to the General Manager, Integrated Operations Centre and Capacity Planning, this full-time term manager leads airport operations. The position oversees a busy international airport’s daily performance, supporting safe, secure, effective passenger and aircraft movement. It also works with airlines, government bodies, intelligence agencies, and international organizations. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-of operational performance across the airport Make decisions during operational challenges and recovery situations Monitor activities, traffic initiatives,



and cascading operational impacts Lead capacity management and weather planning calls Guide airport personnel and activate emergency operations when required Requirements:

Post-secondary education in aviation, operations, business, logistics, or related studies Seven-plus years navigating complex operational challenges Three-plus years directly leading people in matrix environments Knowledge of aviation legislation and federal, provincial, and municipal requirements Calm critical thinking and timely decisions under competing priorities Bring aviation operations leadership, regulatory knowledge, and decisive communication to Calgary Airports’ Integrated Operations Centre.
