Lead transaction tax advisory in Calgary with BDO, applying tax due diligence and structuring expertise across complex acquisitions and divestitures. As Manager, you will support BDO Canada’s growing Transaction Tax Services team. You will advise clients and deal teams on buy-side and sell-side due diligence, tax modelling, purchase and sale agreements, and post-closing matters. The work includes private equity transactions, reorganizations, and strategic advisory engagements. Key Responsibilities:

Lead buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence engagements Evaluate tax liabilities, exposures, and mitigation strategies Design tax-efficient structures for acquisitions and divestitures Prepare technical deliverables explaining tax analysis and implications Manage, mentor, and develop engagement team members Requirements:

Completed CPA designation or LLB Master of Taxation or CPA Canada In-depth Tax program At least five years in qualified services, specializing in Tax Experience with M&A; transactions and client expectations Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills Bring transaction tax, client service, and team leadership expertise to BDO’s Calgary advisory practice.
