This Trades Helper 2 - Carpentry position supports the Architectural Shop - SBH within the Winnipeg Health Region. Under general supervision, you will assist carpenters with hospital maintenance duties and maintain related records. The regular schedule is days, with eight hours worked daily.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with repairing flooring, doors, windows, and furniture
- Complete woodwork repairs on walls
- Install and maintain handrails
- Construct millwork, walls, and partitions
- Support documentation and stock control activities

Requirements:

- Four years’ carpentry experience
- Grade 12
- Trade practice proficiency tested during assessment
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills
- Manual dexterity and physical ability required

Use established carpentry practices, organized documentation, and physical ability to assist maintenance operations at the hospital.
