Certified Fire Alarm System Installer with Code 222 expertise will install, program, inspect, and maintain critical protection systems for Olymbec.

Reporting to the Fire Alarm Systems Supervisor, this full-time position supports Olymbec’s Fire Protection Department. Responsibilities include security systems, fire alarms, communicators, emergency lighting, gas detection, intrusion systems, alarm panels, and central-station testing. Work follows current ULC and National Building Code standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install and program fire alarm and security systems
- Inspect, test, maintain, and repair protection systems
- Produce reports following completed inspections
- Read engineering plans, diagrams, and technical manuals
- Update alarm panels and perform system startup

Requirements:

- DEP in security systems installation and maintenance, Code 222
- Electronics diploma or documented equivalent qualified skills
- Knowledge of security system programming software
- Knowledge of National Building and Fire Codes
- Ability to lift 70 pounds and climb ladders
