Job DescriptionThe Material Handling group of Fluor’s Mining and Metals business line is involved in all aspects of design and mechanical engineering of large scale belt conveyors, crushing & screening stations, bulk material storage & reclaim solutions, and ship & rail loading & unloading facilities for the mining industry. The successful candidate will work with the lead Material Handling engineer and lead the CAD design effort producing 2D drawings and 3D models suitable for the level of the Project phase. This position will require excellent knowledge of conveyor layout, chute design, storage bins, feeders, and bulk material reclaim & crushing facilities.ResponsibilitiesUsing 2D and 3D CAD to create belt conveyor circuits featuring feeding and receiving feed of various crushing, screening, and storage facilitiesDeveloping designs and issuing drawings for construction and permitting in line with industry standard drafting practicesAssigning work and checking work done by other designersReviewing supplier drawings and incorporating their equipment in drawings and 3D modelsCarrying out 3D model reviews with Project Management and clientsOther duties as assignedBasic Job RequirementsAccredited two (2) year diploma/degree or global equivalent in field of study related to mechanical designOver ten (10) years experience in carrying out conveyor, crushing and/or screening facilities design using 2D and/or 3D CADAbility to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors,
