and safe operation of equipmentLiaison with equipment suppliers and faculty to manage inventory, order supplies within budget allocationEstablish protocols and maintains preventative maintenance for all Respiratory Therapy lab equipmentSupervise and guide students to meet learning outcomes within the roles of the respiratory therapy technologist through simulation and laboratory skills in a respiratory therapy lab as directed by facultyLiaison with faculty to plan and organize demonstrations, reinforce correct procedures, skills and theoretical principles in the respiratory therapy labMonitor student performance and make accurate observations and assessments related to students' clinical skills and abilities, utilizing evaluative checklists designed by facultyDemonstrate and enforce protected working habits, ensures appropriate infection control practices are maintained, and monitors students in the respiratory therapy lab
