Analyze commodity markets and trade exposure as a Marketing Analyst at Canadian Natural, based in Calgary, Alberta. Inform commercial decisions across energy operations.

This position reports to the Financial Services Manager and supports commercial evaluations, strategic growth initiatives, and corporate development. You will examine industry trends, regulatory developments, competitor activity, and counterparty trade. The role also includes budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and performance reporting across Canadian Natural’s asset portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor commodity markets and identify commercial risks
- Assess industry, regulatory, and competitor developments
- Prepare monthly reports and monitor counterparty trade




- Recommend trade security actions to senior management
- Collaborate with Marketing, Treasury, Accounting, Operations, and Corporate Development

Requirements:

- Four to eight years in finance, banking, or commercial operations
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant business or economics discipline
- Attention to detail and solid quantitative analysis skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
- Excellent written, verbal, and collaborative communication skills
