This Application Support Technician position combines mechanical and electrical maintenance with controls troubleshooting. You will inspect wear parts, analyze component failures, perform set-ups and calibrations, and improve inspection methods through continuous improvement. The work also includes equipment cleaning, operator support, and compliance with site-specific procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
- Inspect, repair, and replace electrical and mechanical wear parts
- Complete set-ups, calibrations, and planned maintenance activities




- Analyze component failures and prevent recurring single-point failures
- Improve inspection methods through the continuous improvement program

Requirements:

- Two- to three-year electromechanical engineering technology diploma or equivalent
- Industrial electrician or millwright Red Seal endorsement or apprenticeship
- Three to five years’ combined mechanical, electrical, and controls experience
- Experience with motors, gearboxes, chains, bearings, shafts, and belts
- Rigging and hoisting experience with loads up to one ton
