Shape government relations strategies and communications for the Ontario Hospital Association, working hybrid with three weekly work-from-home days.

This Media and Public Affairs Advisor supports federal and provincial engagement on priorities affecting hospitals and the health system. You will develop campaign plans, advise senior leadership, and communicate with government officials, stakeholders, consultants, members, and media.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute government relations strategies and engagement plans
- Advance short-term and long-term health system priorities
- Provide public affairs advice to OHA members
- Communicate with government and health care stakeholders
- Manage negotiations and arbitration communications inquiries

Requirements:

- Solid understanding of government decision-making processes
- Knowledge of federal and provincial public affairs
- Four to six years of progressive strategic communications experience
- Strong oral, written, and relationship-building communication skills
- Experience interacting with government officials and stakeholders
