This position reports to the Director Health Services, Staff Development, Infection Prevention & Control. As part of the regional team, the coordinator collaborates on education planning, development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation. The work covers Operating Room, Same Day Surgery, and Post Anesthetic Care Unit programs, requiring independent decisions, policy knowledge, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop regional perioperative education programming
- Coordinate education across Operating Room services




- Support Same Day Surgery staff learning
- Implement and evaluate education initiatives
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary working groups

Requirements:

- Certificate in CAN Perioperative Nursing
- Minimum five years relevant nursing experience
- Minimum two years Adult Education experience
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation instructor certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
