CoolIT’s product development work needs a Mechanical Designer skilled in complex 3D parts, large assemblies, and SolidWorks. Work hybrid from the Quarry Park office in Calgary, Alberta.

As a Mechanical Designer at CoolIT, an Ecolab Company, you will develop hardware for Direct Liquid Cooling systems. Your work spans electromechanical and fluid-mechanical design, engineering drawings, supplier qualification, and manufacturing considerations. The position supports products serving data centers, supercomputers, and high-performance computing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop complex 3D parts and maintain large CAD assemblies
- Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings
- Select compliant components and qualify vendors with teams
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers,



and industry partners
- Support product lifecycle and change management processes

Requirements:

- Mechanical engineering technology, mechanical design, or equivalent diploma
- Minimum five years of directly relevant experience
- Experience designing or manufacturing physical products or hardware
- SolidWorks proficiency for complex parts and assemblies
- Up to ten percent domestic and international travel may be required
