Work night shifts as a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse supporting mental health patients at Arnot Health’s Behavioral Science Unit in Elmira. Deliver attentive inpatient care.

This LPN position focuses on direct care within a structured inpatient behavioral health setting. Working under RN supervision, you will assist with medications and treatment, monitor patient status and behavior, and support therapeutic interventions. Strong communication and observation skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor patient status and behavior throughout night shifts
- Document patient observations and changing conditions
- Assist registered nurses with medications and treatment
- Provide direct care to behavioral health patients
- Help maintain a respectful, supportive environment

Requirements:

- Accredited Practical Nursing Program graduation
- Current New York State LPN license or eligibility
- BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
- Solid patient care, communication, and observation skills
- Frequent standing, walking, and physical activity
