Translate immunology into diagnostic technology at NRC Boucherville through whole-blood assays, cytokine detection, and analytical validation research.
As a Postdoctoral Fellow, you will contribute to a two-year project developing an autonomous centrifugal microfluidic immune monitoring platform. The work targets semi-quantitative cytokine analysis after ex vivo whole-blood stimulation. You will participate across prototype design, fabrication, subsystem integration, experimental validation, benchmarking, data analysis, and scientific communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct whole-blood immune monitoring experiments
- Optimize cytokine detection and analytical methods
- Evaluate prototype performance and reproducibility
- Document, analyze,
and interpret research data
- Prepare peer-reviewed manuscripts and presentations
Requirements:
- PhD in immunology, biotechnology, or related discipline
- Experience with whole blood, primary cells, plasma, or serum
- Experience with fluorescence-based detection and data analysis
- Independent experimental design and scientific documentation experience
- Robust scientific writing and communication skills
Bring translational immunology, cytokine assay, and experimental validation experience to NRC’s Medical Devices research team.
