This full-time-preferred opportunity welcomes accomplished major gift fundraisers ready to deepen legacy giving experience. You will guide donors through conversations about bequests, trusts, and estate planning vehicles. You will also collaborate with Major Gifts, Annual Giving, Communications, leadership, volunteers, and professional advisors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward legacy prospects
- Make direct asks and coordinate solicitation participants when needed
- Match donor interests with identified fundraising priorities
- Identify blended gift opportunities with major gift colleagues
- Provide legacy giving guidance to fundraising colleagues
Requirements:
- Experience personally soliciting individual donors in sensitive conversations
- Understanding of tax laws, estate planning, and planned giving
- Willingness to engage estate lawyers and financial planners
- Strong project management and explicit presentation abilities
- University degree preferred; equivalent experience and training considered
