Our mission is to maintain a best-in-class portfolio that consistently delivers excellence in care and services while ensuring economic sustainability.Reports to: Environmental Service ManagerThe Housekeeping Aide provides support to the residence by, cleaning and sanitizing to ensure that our Residents are living in the best workplace possible.Key Responsibilities:Clean – Perform general cleaning and sanitizing tasks throughout the assigned property. Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchen, and dining areas. Wash dishes, utensils, glasses, pots and pans. Wipe and dust surfaces in rooms and clean mirrors. Vacuum and clean floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes. Remove and replace linens, bedspreads, and blankets.Stock – Wash and stock all towels, washcloths, and hand towels in bathrooms. Fold laundry and put away as needed.Other – Pick up and empty trash containers. Load washer and dryer as needed. If applicable,



notify maintenance if something is not working correctly.Knowledge and Skills Required:High school diploma or GED preferredDetail-oriented, confidential, and professionalAbility to read, write and speak EnglishMust be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at timesMust be able to stand for long periods of time and reach, bend, lift and pullPassion for providing quality care to residents in a long-term care settingExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenDemonstrated ability to be a team playerAdditional Requirements includeA negative vulnerable sector check completed within 6 months of start date.Completion of a 2 Step TB Skin test within the last 12 months of start date.We would like to thank all applicants for your interest in working as part of our team!
