Drive accurate corporate accounting at BlackBerry using advanced Excel and NetSuite in a hybrid workplace based in Waterloo, Ontario. Support global reporting and controls.

As a Senior Accounting Analyst, you will support BlackBerry’s Corporate Accounting team and report to the Director of Accounting Operations. The position focuses on global record-to-report execution, month-end close, financial records, U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and audit requirements. You will collaborate with FP&A;, treasury, tax, and other cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
- Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records
- Manage fixed and intangible asset accounting processes




- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Support external audits and statutory compliance requirements

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Intermediate corporate or public accounting experience
- Experience with NetSuite GL and AP modules
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- CPA Canada or U.S. CPA designation preferred
