Support housing stability as a full time Housing Advisor with Starling Community Services, using case management and crisis intervention skills. Work 37.5 hours weekly.

This permanent position serves individuals, couples, and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. You will assess housing barriers, create action plans, and provide supportive counseling. The role also requires knowledge of the local K-W housing market, community services, and Microsoft Office. Starling Community Services provides housing services within its broader mental health and employment mission across Waterloo Region and Wellington County.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

- Degree or diploma in social services
- Relevant community-based work experience
- Supportive counseling, case management, and crisis intervention experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
