Maintain AgeCare Aylmer’s building, equipment, and grounds as a full-time Maintenance Technician in Aylmer, Ontario. Apply plumbing and mechanical knowledge daily.

This Maintenance Technician supports a safe, clean, and healthy setting for residents, staff, and visitors. The position maintains preventative maintenance programs across the community. Responsibilities include repairs, landscaping, lighting, inspections, records, and activity scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

- Repair and maintain interior and exterior building areas
- Coordinate routine grounds, parking, and driveway maintenance
- Schedule subcontractor inspections and work with the General Manager
- Perform minor plumbing, drywall, carpentry, and mechanical repairs
- Monitor lighting, checklists, and preventative maintenance schedules

Requirements:

- General electrical and plumbing knowledge
- Good understanding of boiler and furnace systems
- Prior plumbing, mechanical, painting, and maintenance experience
- Effective oral and written English communication
- Supervisory experience is a definite asset
