As an experienced Substation Electrical Designer, you will work within a multidisciplinary team supporting transmission and distribution projects. Your work will cover substation layouts, electrical diagrams, documentation, and design reviews. The position requires six to eight years of substation design experience and knowledge of utility standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop high-voltage and medium-voltage substation facility drawings
- Prepare layouts, grounding, lightning protection, and cable routing plans
- Assist with switchgear and control room layouts
- Prepare diagrams,



schematics, wiring drawings, and cable schedules
- Review drawings for CADD standards compliance

Requirements:

- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology
- Six to eight years designing transmission and distribution substations
- Hydro One and Toronto Hydro CADD Standards experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Bentley MicroStation, and ProjectWise
- Knowledge of IEEE and ANSI standards
