The Town of Tillsonburg seeks a Chief Operator for its refrigeration plant, public ice facilities, and public pools. This permanent full-time position supervises operations staff and maintains protected, compliant facility operations. Responsibilities include ice quality, pool chemistry, equipment care, records, scheduling, and emergency response.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain refrigeration plant and pool facilities safely
- Ensure compliance with TSSA regulations and industry standards
- Maintain ice surfaces, rink facilities, equipment, and preventive procedures
- Supervise staff, approve schedules, timesheets,



and vehicle inspections
- Maintain operational records, inventory, procedures, and hazard analyses

Requirements:

- Valid Refrigeration Operator Class B license for two years
- Two years Chief Operator or five years Class B experience
- Certified Pool Operator and Certified Ice Technician designations
- Related college diploma or equivalent high-school work experience
- Ontario Class G license and acceptable drivers abstract
