Support children through creative programming at YMCA Parkcrest Care and Learning Centre in Kamloops, using ECE expertise and active supervision.

This permanent, full-time Early Childhood Educator works Monday through Friday, with rotating shifts between 7:15 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. You will deliver quality care, lead age-appropriate activities, and build positive relationships with children and families. The position follows YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide quality care and creative programming directly to children
- Design age-appropriate activities using YMCA Playing to Learn
- Build meaningful relationships with children and families
- Maintain safe, clean program areas and common spaces
- Communicate daily updates through the Weemarkable parent app

Requirements:

- Basic ECE certification recognized in British Columbia
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Emergency First Aid, CPR-C, and AED certification within thirty days
- Three satisfactory references required
- Current Criminal Record check with Vulnerable Sector search
