Deliver critical postoperative care as a Registered Nurse in Toronto General Hospital’s PACU, using ventilation and hemodynamic monitoring expertise. This permanent part time position offers up to 22.5 hours weekly.

UHN seeks a Registered Nurse for its POCU/PACU department and multidisciplinary team. You will care for high-acuity surgical patients requiring immediate recovery support after anesthesia. The practice emphasizes compassionate, collaborative, competent, and evidence-based nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide high-quality care to postoperative and critically ill patients
- Manage ventilated patients and invasive monitoring requirements
- Administer and titrate vasoactive medications appropriately
- Interpret ECGs and ABGs during patient assessment
- Support patients and families through structured communication

Requirements:

- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current BLS certificate; current ACLS certificate preferred
- Critical Care Course or three years of ED experience
- At least one year of current PACU experience
- Two years of post-surgical experience required
