As a Lab Patient Technician, you will guide patients through specimen collection and prepare samples for transportation. The work includes phlebotomies, Holter monitors, ECG tracings, special test collections, documentation, data entry, and patient inquiries. This is an existing part-time float position with one opening and an ASAP start date.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and confirm required testing information
- Perform phlebotomies, Holter monitoring, and ECG tracings
- Collect special tests and complete related documentation




- Enter patient demographics and requisition information accurately
- Prepare specimens for transportation and testing

Requirements:

- Approved Laboratory Assistant program graduate preferred
- Phlebotomy experience considered an asset
- Excellent communication and patient service skills
- Computer skills with minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
- Patient privacy, empathy, flexibility, and problem-solving abilities
