Lead DB2 cloud migration architecture from Toronto, working onsite with IBM DB2, Azure, and database modernization expertise. This permanent full time role targets experienced architects. As a DB2 Architect, you will assess environments, define target-state architecture, and guide migration from on-premises platforms to Azure or AWS. The position requires 10+ years in database engineering and architecture, with hands-on DB2 administration, performance tuning, and migration strategy experience. You will also address resilience, automation, and production stabilization across migration waves. Key Responsibilities:

Define DB2 architecture, engineering standards, and best practices Assess schemas, procedures, performance, integrations, and dependencies Design HADR, backup, recovery, replication,



and disaster recovery Develop migration runbooks, validation, cutover, rollback, and hypercare Coordinate migration planning with application, cloud, security, and DevOps teams Requirements:

10+ years in database engineering and architecture Strong IBM DB2 architecture and administration expertise Proven DB2 cloud migration and modernization experience Azure and/or AWS migration strategy design experience Knowledge of Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, and Aurora Apply your DB2 architecture, cloud migration, performance tuning, and stakeholder leadership expertise to Azure transformation programs in Toronto.
