Support plant molecular work at McGill University by setting up micropipetters, centrifuges, and PCR machines. This is a part-time position at the Raymond Building.

As a Research Assistant 2, you will assist with molecular laboratory equipment and genomic data. The work includes preparing equipment for plant molecular research and maintaining data in-house through DRAC and at NCBI. Familiarity with Stromvik lab data and equipment is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up micropipetters for plant molecular work
- Prepare centrifuges for laboratory research activities
- Set up PCR machines for molecular work
- Inventory the laboratory's genomic data
- Update genomic data in DRAC and NCBI

Requirements:

- Master's degree required
- Familiarity with Stromvik lab data
- Familiarity with Stromvik lab equipment
- Authorization to work in Canada
- Willingness to work in Quebec
