Calgary career counselling requires employment guidance, skills assessment, and workshop facilitation for clients pursuing work or education. This full time position supports Lifemark’s C4W Program.

As a Career Counsellor in Vocational Services, you will assess employment histories, education, experience, transferable skills, and barriers. You will develop career plans, facilitate essential skills and occupational workshops, and support job searches. The work includes connecting participants with resources and employers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide career and employment counselling to Albertans
- Facilitate essential skills and employment preparation workshops
- Assess barriers, skills, education, and employment history
- Complete resumes, cover letters,



and mock interviews
- Develop and manage individual service plans

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in social sciences or related field
- Career counselling and job development or placement experience
- Understanding of Alberta labour markets and educational programming
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- Security background check required
