This intermediate or senior Mechanical Estimator prepares estimates across pre-construction and project phases. You will review drawings, contracts, scope narratives, and tender documents while coordinating mechanical scopes with architectural, civil, structural, and electrical estimators. The work includes quantity take-offs, subcontractor quotes, risk review, and client-facing budget discussions. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare pre-construction, design-build, and stipulated price estimates Complete quantity take-offs for labor, equipment, and materials Coordinate scope delineation with multidisciplinary estimators Review quotes, identify scope gaps,



and manage budget risks Maintain labor, material, and project cost databases Requirements:

Intermediate or senior mechanical estimating experience Knowledge of estimating strategies and construction contracts Ability to interpret engineering drawings and cost coding systems Experience with mission-critical, industrial, pharmaceutical, or life science projects Knowledge of plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and BAS/BMS Bring mechanical estimating, quantity take-off, and construction contract knowledge to EllisDon’s multidisciplinary pre-construction team.
