Job DescriptionReporting to the Division Manager, the Grinder Operator is responsible for following the company standard work procedure and safety policies while performing their day-to-day duties.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all the duties associated with the everyday operation of the tool joint grinder unitResponsible for unit maintenance, size adjustments, and settings of equipmentPerforms grinding to meet customer requirements and Tuboscope SOP'sIf applicable, supervises a crewmember's performance of rolling pipe to and from the units and other related job duties as requiredPaperwork is required to be completed; the grinder operator will be responsible for completion and submission of the paperwork to the appropriate supervisor for review and processingResponsible for clean-up of the associated equipment following completion of a jobResponsible for periodic equipment maintenance of the units and associated equipmentThe Grinder Operator may also perform other inspection/pipe service duties when the need arisesQualificationsHigh school or GED equivalent preferredKnowledge and experience in oilfield tubulars and pipe handling will be beneficialKnowledge of welding proceduresOn-the-job training in the operation of the equipmentHSE RequirementsShop environment orientation (exits, fire extinguishers, first aid & eyewash stations,
