Support safe patient care in Labour and Delivery as a Unit Attendant at Grey Nuns Community Hospital, preparing rooms and medical equipment.

This temporary part-time position works evenings within the Labour and Delivery program. The Unit Attendant moves patients, supplies, and materials throughout the hospital while maintaining a clean, safe, stocked environment. Responsibilities include room preparation, equipment stocking, medical equipment preparation for MDRD, and equipment movement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Labour and Delivery staff supporting secure quality care
• Clean and prepare triage, labour, and operating rooms
• Stock assigned areas and prepare medical equipment for MDRD
• Move patients, supplies, materials,

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 10 or recognized equivalent
• Experience as a unit attendant or service aide preferred
• Labour and Delivery experience preferred
• Hospital housekeeping experience preferred
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check required before work begins
