The Patient Care Assistant supports preparation and post-exam care for CT, MRI, and other modalities as needed. This corporate role supports all three Osler sites while providing basic patient care. Responsibilities include pre-screening documents, intravenous insertion, patient instructions, and changing into gowns. Diagnostic imaging workflow knowledge strengthens your application.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete patient pre-screening documents before examinations
- Perform intravenous insertion where indicated
- Explain waiting and gown-changing instructions to patients




- Provide basic patient care during imaging preparation
- Support post-exam care for CT and MRI studies

Requirements:

- Graduate of a certified medical laboratory assistant program
- Venipuncture experience and medical terminology knowledge
- Health sciences background; radiation technology experience preferred
- CPR certification and imaging workflow knowledge are assets
- Solid communication, organization, and independent working abilities
