Oversee Pre-Analytic Services at UHN, coordinating specimen procurement, ECG, customer service, and laboratory staffing across multiple locations.

This full-time Supervisor reports to the Senior Manager, Pre-Analytic Services, within UHN’s Laboratory Medicine Program. You will oversee operations supporting all UHN sites and external clients. The work requires sound judgment, problem-solving, decision-making, and commitment to continuing education.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct assigned teams across outpatient centers and mobile services
- Delegate assignments and monitor attendance, schedules, and completed work
- Resolve operational issues with internal teams and external clients
- Analyze workload data and support technical workflow improvements




- Evaluate laboratory instruments and recommend acquisitions or utilization

Requirements:

- Medical Laboratory Technology diploma or recognized equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Health Administration
- Three to four years’ practical hospital or medical experience
- Two years’ supervisory experience in a laboratory workplace
- Strong problem-solving and independent judgment skills
