About Sunrise Senior Living

The Room Attendant plays an essential role in creating a safe, clean and welcoming environment for residents, families and team members. This position supports both housekeeping and laundry operations while upholding Sunrises quality service standards and commitment to resident-centered care.

What Youll Do

• Perform housekeeping duties in resident suites, common areas and offices
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and sanitize floors, furniture, fixtures and surfaces
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, sinks, showers and glass surfaces
• Respect resident privacy by knocking before entering rooms
• Collect trash and transport clean and soiled linens appropriately
• Sort, wash, dry, fold and distribute community laundry
• Inspect linens for wear and follow procedures for damaged items
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in secure, orderly condition

• Assist with resident needs and communicate updates to supervisors
• Participate in team meetings and engagement initiatives

Pay Range

24.34 - 30.43

This position is classified as a casual role. Casual employees work on an as-needed basis with no guaranteed hours and are not considered permanent employees. Employment is not guaranteed for any specific duration and may be ended at any time in accordance with applicable employment standards.
