Support students through academic practice, behavioral guidance, and personal care as a Replacement Education Assistant 2 working 27.5 hours.

Reporting to the principal, this Education Assistant 2 supports individual students and small groups under teacher direction. Duties follow individualized education plans across academic, behavioral, health, communication, and life-skill needs. The position also supports supervision, records observations, and school activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist students with academic and behavioral drill activities
- Provide hygiene, toileting, feeding, positioning, and transferring support
- Monitor students during recess, lunch, and school transitions
- Record observations, score assignments, and maintain appropriate records
- Administer assigned medication and report safety concerns

Requirements:

- Grade twelve education
- Six related college or university level courses
- One year of related experience with children or youth
- Ability to follow individualized education plans and medication directions
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist students
