Leavitt Machinery seeks a skilled Field Technician for its Service team. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will repair and maintain material handling equipment across Northwest British Columbia, primarily near Prince Rupert. The work requires customer communication, service documentation, and coordination with dispatch and Parts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair material handling equipment and machinery
- Complete routine maintenance and safety inspections
- Coordinate service jobs with the Service Dispatcher
- Discuss repair requirements and job scope with customers




- Prepare parts and complete work orders and warranty paperwork

Requirements:

- Red Seal trade certification with Heavy Duty or Automotive Journeyperson certification
- At least five years of related heavy equipment or automotive repair experience
- Experience with hydraulics and electric engine servicing
- Valid driver's license and regional customer-site travel availability
- High school diploma and solid communication skills
