Test modern web applications with Playwright and API expertise as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst supporting Nelson’s digital learning products. Work from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM Eastern Time.

This senior role supports reliable, accessible products including Edwin, Nelson’s digital learning platform. You will test frontend and backend systems, investigate defects, and contribute throughout the software development lifecycle. The work includes manual, automated, accessibility, performance, API, and database testing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create and execute test plans, scenarios, and detailed test cases
- Test interfaces, APIs, databases, integrations, and backend services
- Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and accessibility testing




- Document defects in Jira with evidence and reproduction steps
- Improve automated regression coverage using Playwright or similar tools

Requirements:

- Four or more years in software quality assurance or testing
- Robust modern web application testing experience across frontend and backend
- Hands-on API, database, integration, and service testing experience
- Experience designing and maintaining automated tests
- Experience with Jira and Agile or Scrum environments
