Operate up-to-date mine equipment at Impala Canada’s Lac des Iles Mine near Thunder Bay, using haulage, loading, and roadway-maintenance skills.

This Heavy Equipment Operator supports mine-site operations through equipment operation, loading, hauling, and roadway maintenance. The position requires proficiency with haulage trucks, backhoes, graders, dozers, loaders, and other assigned equipment. It also includes maintaining safety, following policies and legislative standards, and communicating hazards to supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate equipment for loading and hauling mine materials
- Maintain roadways across the mine site
- Operate trucks, graders, dozers, loaders, and backhoes
- Perform snow removal and support site services
- Communicate hazards or concerns to the supervisor

Requirements:

- Surface miner common core certification
- MTCU modules for dozer, excavator, and haulage truck
- English verbal and written proficiency
- Ability to perform manual labor
- Class G license minimum; DZ considered an asset
