Work two overnight shifts weekly at Haven Toronto, delivering clinical assessment and basic nursing care. Additional as-needed shifts may be available.

This part-time, time-limited contract supports the Hospital Overflow Program until June 30, 2027. Reporting to the Program Manager, the Registered Practical Nurse helps clients redirected from emergency departments receive safe overnight rest and monitoring. The role involves independent practice, documentation, and inter-qualified consultation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work independently under nursing clinic directives
- Orient clients to medical services and available support
- Develop, implement, and evaluate inter-professional care plans
- Provide over-the-counter medication counselling as required
- Identify health trends and support service planning

Requirements:

- Accredited nursing education and Registered Practical Nurse license
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Critical thinking and prioritization abilities
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to operate with minimal oversight

Use sound judgement, nursing knowledge, and organized documentation to support Haven Toronto clients during overnight program hours.
