Warehouse Supervisor / Lead Hand – Milton, ONFull‑time, permanent overnight lead hand position at Fresh Start Foods Canada Ltd., located in Milton, ON.Shifts: Sunday to Friday, 6:30PM – 2:30AM (one day off on Saturday and one other day typically Monday or Wednesday).Wage: $22.50 – $25.00 per hour.Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision (after 30 days of continuous service), Profit Sharing, RRSP Program, Employee Purchase Program, Team‑based Work Environment, Commitment to Health and Safety, Annual Boot Allowance.Duties and ResponsibilitiesOffload product from trucks and manage rotation on a “first‑in‑first‑out” basis unless otherwise specified.Supervise and participate in order selection and loading for all runs and trucks.Stack pallets correctly using heavy products as the base and light/delicate products on top.Position products in cooler, warehouse, and on the dock to ensure quality products are accessible for selection and delivery to customers.Consult with the quality control specialist or purchaser when there is a doubt about quality.Responsible for the accuracy and quality of all products shipped or received.Actively inspect a minimum of two cases per pallet for all pallets received.Maintain a working knowledge of company products and procedures.Store all received product in the designated areas.Inspect all incoming trucks per company guidelines (temperature, cleanliness, sanitation).Enter customer orders, print pick labels, invoices,



and perform other computer work as needed.Record all deliveries in the log.Follow all food safety procedures in place and ensure staff comply.Maintain proper record keeping for all daily record checks required.Create weekly schedules for overnight order selectors.Skills, Qualifications, and ExperienceAbility to lead and motivate up to 10 staff members.Valid licence for operation of counter‑balance forklift (preferred).3–5 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment, accident‑free.Prior experience in a fast‑paced warehouse.Experience in a multi‑temperature workplace and with perishable products an asset.Knowledge of produce an asset.May be required to work longer than the scheduled hours.History of valuable attendance and adherence to the work schedule.EEO StatementFresh Start Foods is an equal opportunity employer who strives to provide an inclusive work environment that involves everyone and embraces the diverse talent of its people.
