Deliver geriatric nursing care with AgeCare as a Registered Practical Nurse, supporting residents and guiding Personal Support Workers. This position works with health care teams.

As a Registered Practical Nurse, you provide professional nursing care according to medical requirements and practice standards. You collaborate with Registered Nurses, physicians, external health care partners, and other team members to meet residents’ needs. You also implement AgeCare policies and procedures on the unit, participate in shift reports, and communicate significant changes in resident status.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide professional nursing care to residents
- Implement AgeCare policies and procedures with Registered Nurses
- Liaise with physicians and health care partners




- Direct Personal Support Workers on the care team
- Participate in shift reports and communicate resident changes

Requirements:

- Knowledge of geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care nursing
- Background in activation, nursing, and personnel administration
- Knowledge of relevant nursing home legislation and standards
- Current College of Nurses of Ontario Certificate of Competence
- Membership in valuable standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
