Support bull welfare and daily barn operations with Semex in Kemptville. This in-person, full time day shift runs from 6:30am to 3:00pm with rotating weekends.

Reporting to the Animal Care Supervisor, the Animal Care Specialist works within Semex’s Housing Team. You will help maintain proper bull nutrition, complete barn cleaning, manage agricultural materials, and assist seasonal crop activities. Communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure proper nutrition and welfare for bulls
- Clean barns mechanically and manually
- Manage hay, silage, and manure during operations
- Assist with seasonal crop activities
- Maintain farm equipment for safe, efficient use

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Livestock handling and care experience
- Solid mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication and team-oriented mindset
