Edgewise Environmental seeks a detail-oriented Junior Marine Biologist for a seasonal, full time project through March 31, 2027. Reporting to the Senior Marine Biologist, you will support marine environmental consulting, conservation, research, and drone-based data collection. The schedule includes two remote days and three office days weekly after an initial full-time office month.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with logistical planning and project preparation
- Prepare equipment, troubleshoot issues, and support modifications
- Participate in surveys as observer or qualified Drone Pilot
- Enter field data into cloud-based databases




- Support reports, presentations, HSE documents, and outreach

Requirements:

- Degree or equivalent experience in Environmental Science or Marine Biology
- Familiarity with drone modifications, flight planning, or aerial surveys
- Valid Class 5 license and reliable transportation
- Strong research, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Legal qualification to work in Canada
