Provide pediatric intensive care in person at Health Sciences Centre Winnipeg, using critical thinking, clinical knowledge, and patient-prioritization skills.

Shared Health seeks a General Duty Nurse for JL3 Pediatric Intensive Care. The clinical position requires nursing care knowledge, effective communication, and independent teamwork. Pediatric experience is preferred, supporting care within the Children’s Hospital setting and applicable unit procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prioritize care for individual or groups of patients
- Respond to simultaneous demands in pediatric intensive care
- Apply clinical-area nursing care knowledge
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members




- Demonstrate medication calculation competency during orientation

Requirements:

- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program
- Maintain registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
- Hold CPR training at the Health Care Provider level
- Minimum two years recent acute nursing experience preferred
- Post-basic ICU course and pediatric experience preferred
