Support sales, merchandising, and store safety as a full-time Sales Associate at Strathmore Thrift Store, 900 Pine Road.

Working onsite in Strathmore, Alberta, you will contribute to The Salvation Army’s retail operations and mission-focused service. The position combines customer and donor interaction with merchandise sorting, pricing, displays, inventory control, and store maintenance. Schedules may vary weekly and include weekdays and/or Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:

- Contribute to sales targets through courteous customer service
- Maintain window displays and merchandise presentation
- Retrieve, sort, price, and rotate inventory
- Bag textiles and place metal recycling appropriately
- Explicit hazards and maintain safe common areas

Requirements:

- Willingness to support The Salvation Army’s mission
- Some high school coursework completed
- Attention to detail and self-motivation
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively
- Successful applicable screening and background checks
