Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the Machine Room Manager oversees departmental and team performance. This role focuses on operating and optimizing two Kraft pulp machines and warehouse activities. Success requires leadership, budgeting, forecasting, and continuous improvement experience. Key Responsibilities:

Ensure regulatory, internal control, and policy compliance Optimize quality, efficiency, and production objectives Coach work groups on high-impact improvement projects Lead planning for reliable Machine Room operations Oversee shipping, receiving, and warehouse personnel Requirements:

Five years of Kraft pulp machine leadership experience Engineering, Science, or Technology degree or diploma preferred Experience with annual budgeting and forecasting Solid technical and structured problem-solving skills Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement training considered an asset Bring Kraft pulp leadership, operational optimization, and structured problem solving to Mercer Celgar's Machine Room operations.
